The Theodora Palette by Urban Decay

It looks like the reviews coming out for Oz the Great & Powerful are only so-so, which is disappointing, as the director and actors involved are so stellar.  Fortunately, Urban Decay's Theodora palette is a solid performer which did not disappoint.  Even better, I was fortunate enough to win Theodora in a giveaway from the generous Courtney at Phyrra.net!  I had limited myself to purchasing only one of the two Oz related palettes from Urban Decay and had chosen Glinda, but the greens in Theodora had called me from the beginning.  Winning her made it that much more satisfying.
I'm a fan of the build your own palettes, and the graphic design of Theodora was also the one that appealed to me the most.  I admit I've got a bit of the collecting bug when it comes to these, as I've already acquired the original 6 pan and two of the 4 pan palettes.  I just the idea of being able to arrange colors that work for me as opposed to being stuck with colors I know I won't touch.  Fortunately, Theodora has some very wearable colors!  All swatches are on bare arm.
Broken is a soft bisque with a satin finish.  Great brow and inner eye brightener.
Beware is a lovely caramel matte.  I'm so happy to see a matte included in the palette, as I find them very versatile and UD often has such shimmery shadows that I frequently have to tone down, which mattes do quite well.
Bewitch is a neutral dark brown with a satin finish.
West is a rich sable brown shimmer.  I admit I was a bit flummoxed that Theodora had so many browns in it, but OTOH, I wear browns a lot.
Spell is the first of two split color shadows included in the palette.  The black half has gold and green shimmer it, although it is quite subtle and mainly looks like a soft black to my eye.  The gold half contains UD's infamous micro-glitter, but the shadow itself is a richly pigmented gold shimmer.  I'll put up with the micro-glitter for this one.
Last is Jealous, the greens I so coveted.  The darker green is a golden olive and the lighter a celery green shimmer They do not disappoint and I love how the lighter shade looks on the lid, as it has some iridescence.  I also love the split color pans, as rarely do I hit pan on any one color and I do love variety.
Also included is the Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Theodora, a lovely red creme.  I have a fear of bold lips, so not sure how I will incorporate this beauty.  It's a really nice formula with lots of shine and the arm swatch did stain slightly.
The 24/7 eyeliner in Theodora is Zero, a black matte.  I did not swatch it as I plan on giving it to my mother.  It's a good black liner and I probably have 5 of them, as they are a staple in many UD palettes.

All of the shadows performed well, are nicely pigmented, and nice additions to my collection.  So glad to have won this!

Disclaimer:  I won this in a contest.
